One of the classic business buzzwords, win/win is a term that describes a situation where both parties in a negotiation end up in a better position than they started. Compromise is a term typically avoided in business because it implies you give something up to get something. Win/win shifts compromise to the positive because both parties gain a little rather than lose a little.
Remote working agreements are one of my favorite examples of win/win situations today. When I work from home one or two days a week, I am more productive and happier in my role. I get to hang out in my pajamas and accomplish significant amounts of work; in turn, my boss gets higher output from me and more loyalty in my position.
