Like shooting fish in a barrel means something is so easy it would be impossible to fail.

Imagine a business development strategist that just identified a new market so completely necessary to today’s consumers she can’t believe she’s the first one to think of it. She explains the target to her boss, and her boss replies, “This is going to be great, like shooting fish in barrel. I can’t wait to see next quarter’s sales shoot up!”
