Words of the Week – flesh out

To flesh something out is to add details. For example, an Entrepreneurship Professor might give the following feedback to a student, “You’ve got a nice outline of a business plan here. If you flesh it out with 5-year profit and loss projections, you’ll probably find an investor.”
