The new buzzword for categories is buckets. I love the visual of putting things into buckets, and personally use it quite often. For example, I explain my work responsibilities as falling into two buckets: marketing fundamentals and innovation.

1. Time: work time & life time
2. Managing relatoinship: family, friends, & colleagues
3. Activity: physical & intellectual
