Borrowed from the military, to rack and stack is to prioritize. My manager was in the US Navy for eight years. She uses this term often, and I’m a big fan of it. She’ll say, “We’ve got a lot going on next week. Bring your project list and your calendar on Monday morning, and we’ll rack and stack.”

This is actually a very clean “berthing” or sleeping area. i was a Engineman (Diesel Mechanic) and the only time the berthing was this clean was after it was referbished. Very good pic though. thank you because of this pic my girl friend got a glimps of what little “me space” i had.

It’s so clean because it’s empty. Notice the lack of curtains, pics on the walls, sheets, etc.
