My favorite friend in kindergarten didn’t speak English. Her family moved to the United States from China, and she spoke only Chinese. I, on the other hand, had never heard a word of Chinese before I met May. It’s quite fortunate that children don’t need a common language to have fun together. May and I played blocks and tag and other games kids play. I don’t know where she is now, but I’d like to thank her for setting me off on a life long journey of cultural exploration and friendship.
I’m so pleased to welcome you to MBA in the USA, a place to help prepare students from all over the world for an adventure in the United States educational system. On this website, we’ll talk about American cultural norms, the US classroom and tips for success in the MBA world. We’ll also talk about how to have some fun along the way.
Being the eternal student myself, I am always looking for ways to learn and grow, and appreciate any insights to improve the content of this website. Please post comments or questions to the blog, and feel free to email me at grayson@mbainthusa.com with your suggestions.
Happy Studying!
